What happens if I am renting the materials and the materials are damaged by a member of my household, friends, family, visitors, or animals (whether owned by me or not)?It is stated in the contract that if an event occurs where the materials are damaged, there will be an additional fee to help repair/replace the damaged items.

If I purchase the material at the end instead of renting, can we alter the contract to show that?Yes, we can alter the contract as needed.

Can your design be extended for the outdoors?Yes. Many design concepts that we design for inside your home or business can be extended to the outdoors with slight changes.

Is there an additional fee for late notifications?As the holiday seasons progress, supplies (and time) are in short supply. Though we will work with you, depending on the individual season, there might be an additional cost for late notification.

If we decide to purchase the tree design, would your company purchase the ornaments and install the tree and ornaments?Yes, we would be happy to purchase the ornaments and install in the tree.

What happens if the lights on the tree(s) go out?While Our Comfort and Joy takes every possible precaution, such as testing the tree multiple times, only using LED lights, etc.…sometimes the lights do go out. This is out of our control and is stated in more detail in the contract.

When should we start the process of holiday design?Like many different design processes, the earlier the better. As we get closer to the holiday season, supplies (and time) tend to run out. Starting early helps ensure that we have the best possible chance of acquiring the materials needed to help make your vision come to life!

Is there an option where you can design a concept based on my space, given my current decorations and décor?Yes. We can do either in-person or virtual consultations where we review the space you have and your current decorations/décor. Then we help you design a new concept based on what you currently own.

How will we know the tree will fit?One aspect of the design process is on-site inspection. One of our representatives will travel to your home/business to take detailed notes of where you would like to place the tree, the flow of people in the location, electrical outlets…etc. This is to ensure that we design the correct size tree for the space.

Can I choose which décor items I want?We will work with you to help incorporate your personal preferences/aspects into your holiday design to give it a more personal touch. However, limiting the material or type may restrict the overall ability to match the final design to the design concept.

Is there a charge for the initial consultation?No. There is never a charge for an initial consultation, whether in-person or virtual.

What size trees can you accommodate for?There is no limit to the size of the tree we can accommodate; however, the larger the tree, the more time would be needed to design, acquire supplies, and set up.

Is there an option to only have you design my space for me, and then I will purchase the material and set-up?Yes, if you only wish us to design the décor layout for you, we will be more than happy to do so.

How much of the home or business will your company design?Our company can design any space that you feel is important to convey the holiday spirit to your family or business. While space might be limited, inspiration is not.

Will you give suggestions on the best tree system to rent/buy, given my life situation?Of course. During our initial conversations and design process, we will talk through many different aspects and will design a tree that will best fit your lifestyle/situation.
